Marine Genomics Europe Training in Bioinformatics
From 29.01. 07 to 02.02.07 the Microbial Genomics Group at Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology in Bremen hosted eleven guests from all over Europe for an introduction course in sequence and genome analysis. This year participants from Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Chile, Sweden and Israel came in to work with computers and share experiences about hot topics in marine research. The course is part of the training and education program of the Network of Excellence Marine Genomics Europe and has already gained tradition at MPI Bremen. Crossing the virtual ethnic, national and scientific borders by solving problems together helps to strengthen Europe’s research area. The course was organized by Ribocon.
