New tele­phone num­bers

Dear col­leagues, dear cowork­ers,

Since our in­sti­tute is grow­ing, the old tele­phone sys­tem has to be re­placed by a new one. At this time we also have to ex­tend the per­sonal ex­ten­sion num­bers from 3 to 4 di­gits.

For al­most all of our em­ploy­ees, this means that a zero is ad­ded to the per­sonal ex­ten­sion num­ber. An ex­ample: If the tele­phone num­ber was pre­vi­ously +49 421 2028-123, you must now dial +49 421 2028-1230. You can now reach our re­cep­tion on +49 421 2028-5151 – they will be able to as­sist you if you en­counter prob­lems.

The changeover of the tele­phone sys­tem will take place on Decem­ber 4. On this day, the tele­phone sys­tem is ex­pec­ted to fail from noon on­wards. In the course of the week­end the tele­phones will be back in busi­ness.

We have tried to min­im­ize the im­pact on the In­sti­tute as much as pos­sible. Un­for­tu­nately this change is un­avoid­able.
