We are excited about our new meeting room with maritime flair.

From the sea to our institute in no time!

This applies not only to many of our researchers, but also to a decommissioned shipping container, which will soon serve as a meeting room at our institute. Yesterday, the 20-foot container was installed at the institute pond. In perfect weather conditions, the supplier, crane operator, electrician and many others were able to hoist the container onto its pre-cast foundation.

The container had already been fitted with a sliding glass side wall, a round porthole window, a door and other necessary openings, insulated and painted.

Now its transformation into ‘Haus Seeblick’ – the meeting room with a view of our pond and plenty of maritime flair – has begun.
